How to Verify Shuffle HiLo Results
Step 1: Get your seed data from Shuffle
To verify a HiLo bet, you need three pieces of data:
- Server Seed (Unhashed): Shuffle reveals it when you rotate your seed pair. Open the HiLo bet in your bet history, rotate the pair from its Provably Fair section, and the bet's details then show the unhashed server seed.
- Client Seed: Found in your bet history or provably fair settings. You can customize this seed before playing.
- Nonce: Each bet has a unique nonce. Find it in your bet details - it represents the bet number in your current seed pair.
Note: Shuffle reveals a server seed only when you rotate the seed pair; finishing a round does not reveal it. Every bet made on the old pair can then be verified.

The verifier calculates the card sequence using Shuffle's exact HMAC-SHA256 algorithm.
Step 3: Compare the results with your bet
After clicking Verify, you'll see the round's card sequence:
- The verifier displays 52 cards in the order they are drawn: card 1 is the first card drawn after your starting card
- Each card shows its rank (A, 2–10, J, Q, K), suit and value (Ace = 1, King = 13); a card can repeat, since every draw uses the full deck
- Compare the cards after your starting card with your game on Shuffle; skipped cards count too
- If they match exactly, the bet was provably fair
If results don't match, double-check you're using the correct server seed and nonce from that specific bet.

How does Shuffle HiLo game work?
Shuffle HiLo draws every card from a full 52-card deck, so the odds never change from one card to the next and a card can repeat. You're shown a card and predict whether the next one will be the same or higher, the same or lower, or you skip it. With an Ace showing, the same or higher means strictly higher and the same or lower means another Ace; with a King, the same or higher means another King and the same or lower means strictly lower. The cards come from HMAC-SHA256 of your server seed, client seed, and nonce: one card per float, floor(float × 52).
Does this verifier work for both Shuffle.com and Shuffle.us?
Yes! Both Shuffle.com (international) and Shuffle.us (US sweepstakes) use identical provably fair algorithms for HiLo. This verifier works for both platforms - just enter your seeds and nonce from either site.
Why doesn't my verification result match?
Common reasons for mismatched results:
- Using hashed server seed: You need the unhashed server seed Shuffle shows after you rotate your seed pair, not the hashed version.
- Wrong nonce: Each bet has a unique nonce - verify you're using the exact nonce for that specific bet.
- Seed pair mismatch: The seeds must be the exact pair that was active when your HiLo bet was placed.

What are the card values in Shuffle HiLo?
